A Memory Quilt has an extra layer of wadding sandwiched in between the clothes and backing layers. This gives it the feel and look of a traditional quilt and is a great way to hold on to something physical when you need some extra comfort.
We finish our Memory Quilts with a 100 % cotton binding. This gives your quilt a professional looking finish and also ensures it will last for a life time. Our Memory Quilts are machine washable at a cool temperature. The quilt needs to be dried laying flat or hanging on a washing line – please do not tumble dry. When ironing your Memory Quilt also please be mindful of any vinyl logos which could melt under the heat, just like you would when ironing your clothing,
Our memory Quilt king bedsize is available in two different styles. The mosaic style is suited for clothing items with large logos or other big details you want to be included in your king bedsize Memory Quilt. T Shirts for example work great, as they often have a huge variety of logo and motif sizes.
The uniform sized patches work best for plain coloured items as well as those with small patterns. Gentlemen’s shirts and jumpers for example work best.
