Client success story

How the customer service can make all the difference

A few months back I got tagged on a post looking for a keepsake memory maker. I answered offering my services together with some photos of my previous work.

I very quickly realised I had a very anxious Mum at the other end of messenger who was ever so worried about posting off her daughters very precious first year clothes. She knew she wanted a quilt making but just couldn’t find the right person  to do it for her. She was struggling to find someone local to trust.

Now this lady lives 2 hours drive away from me but happens to be near my daughter who I’m going to visit regularly. I offered on my next visit I’d go and see this customer to have a chat about her expectations in her memory quilt and to show examples of previous work I’d done. After all ….photos can sometimes be very deceiving and you can’t always tell the quality of a product. She now had the opportunity to see and feel for herself.

The Mummy was happy to place the order, I packed the cute little baby clothes with instructions for the personal embroidery patch and I took them back home to Lincoln to start work .

A few weeks later on my next visit to see my daughter I delivered her beautiful memory quilt to the lady. She burst into tears …..tears of happiness to be receiving her beautiful daughters quilt , full of memories for her and her family . She was stroking the individual patches telling us stories about each one. It was a beautiful experience to be watching such happiness and made the extra trip so worth while.

I just love the personal customer approach and collect and deliver clothes and finished keepsake items wherever possible . Nothing is nicer to see a happy customers face when receiving their precious keepsake.
